These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Settlemod website (the “Site”) and any purchases you make through the Site. The Site is operated by Settlemod (“Settlemod,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By visiting our Site, using our services, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your state/province of residence to use the Site and place an order. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Our role as a retailer; brand & trademarks notice
Settlemod is an independent online retailer. Product names, brand names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the products we offer. Unless explicitly stated, Settlemod is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party brand.
5. Product information & availability
We strive to display accurate product information (descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, and availability). However:
* Images are for illustrative purposes. Colors and appearance may vary due to lighting and screen settings.
* Specifications and packaging may change without notice.
* Inventory availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.
We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time, including after an order is submitted, and to update information without prior notice.
6. Pricing, currency, taxes, and fees
Currency: All prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Shipping fees: Any shipping charge (if applicable) is calculated based on your shipping address and order contents and will be clearly shown at checkout before you place your order.
Taxes: Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout where required by law, based on your delivery address.
No hidden fees: We do not add hidden fees at checkout beyond the amounts clearly displayed before you confirm your purchase.
7. Promotions & discount codes
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to separate terms, expiration dates, and limitations. Unless stated otherwise:
* Only one discount may apply per order.
* Discounts do not apply to taxes, shipping, or certain excluded items.
We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time.
8. Orders, acceptance, and cancellations by us
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We may accept, reject, or cancel orders at our discretion, including (but not limited to) situations involving:
* Pricing or listing errors
* Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions
* Address verification issues
* Inventory shortages
If we cancel an order after payment is captured, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.
9. Payment
We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment processing is handled through secure payment providers. For your security, we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
If your payment is declined, please confirm your payment details or contact your bank/payment provider.
10. Shipping & delivery
We ship within the United States as described in our Shipping Policy. Estimated delivery times are provided for reference and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier capacity, weather, peak seasons, or other circumstances outside our control.
Once your order is shipped, tracking updates are provided by the carrier and may take time to appear.

11. Title, risk of loss, and delivery responsibility
Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our transfer of the product to the carrier (unless otherwise required by applicable law). After shipment, carrier delays, missed delivery attempts, and address issues are outside our control.
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address and reachable contact information. Additional fees caused by incorrect addresses, refused deliveries, or repeated delivery attempts may be your responsibility.
12. Order changes & cancellations (customer requests)
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at info@settlemod.com.
* Changes/cancellations may be possible only before the order is processed or shipped.
* Once shipped, we generally cannot cancel or reroute the shipment. Carrier fees associated with rerouting or returning a shipment may be the customer’s responsibility.
13. Returns, refunds, and exchanges
Returns, refunds, and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy. Please review it carefully before placing an order. Where our Refund Policy provides specific procedures or deadlines (including for damaged/defective items), those procedures apply.
14. Damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, missing parts, or incorrect, please contact us promptly and provide your order number and supporting photos/videos (including packaging if applicable). We will work with you on an appropriate resolution in accordance with our policies.
15. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the Site:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) at issue.

25. Dispute resolution & venue
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issue. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree that any legal action will be brought in the state or federal courts located in West Virginia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
27. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our policies referenced on the Site (including the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and Settlemod regarding your use of the Site and purchases.
